Chapter 6: The New Puppy Orphanage.

Later that night, Charlie Jr., Bentley and the gang found Charlie Jr. and Bentley's Apartment.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Well, Here we are, Guys. Home Sweet Home.

Bentley Itchiford: It's not much, But it's the least we can do and make you guys feel right at home.

Bethany: Wow!

July: It's beautiful!

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Alright, Let's unpack our things!

So, They unpack their things and make their new home as best as ever.

After unpacking, Everyone except for Charlie Jr., Bentley and July were getting very very tired as they went to sleep. Charlie Jr. didn't go to sleep for quite sometime, He had been doing a lot of thinking what his and their destiny was.

July: Charlie? Are you doing okay?

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Hmm? Oh, Yeah. I'm fine. I was just thinking.

July: About what?

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Well, I've just got this feeling that there's something I'd rather be then just a Dog or a Guardian Angel.

Bentley Itchiford: Then who would you rather be then both those things?

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Well, Now that I think about it....

I guess I'd be a hero
With sword and armor clashing
Looking semi dashing
A shield within my grip

Or else I'd be a viking
And live a life of daring
While smelling like a herring
Upon a viking ship

I'd sail away, I'd see the world
I'd reach the farthest reaches
I'd feel the wind, I'd taste the salt and sea
And maybe storm, some beaches
That's who I'd be, that's who I'd be

Or I could be a poet
And write a different story
One that tells of glory
And wipes away the lies

And to the skies I'd throw it
The stars would do the telling
The moon would help with spelling
And night would dot the 'I's

I'd write my verse, recite a joke
It'd fit in perfect timing
I'd share my heart, confess the things I yearn
And do it all while rhyming
But we all learn, but we all learn

A street dog always hides
A street dog's fate is known
And street dogs always stays
In the dark and all alone

So yes, I'd be a hero
And if my wish were granted
Life would be enchanted
Or so the stories say

Of course I'd be a hero
And I would scale a tower
And save a hung-house flower
And carry her away

But standing guard there'd be a mutt
I'd somehow overwhelm it
I'd get the collie, I'd take my breath
And I'd remove my helmet

We'd stand and stare, we'd speak of love
We'd feel the stars ascending
We'd share a kiss, I'd find my destiny

I'd have a hero's ending
A perfect happy ending
That's how it would be
A big bright beautiful world
But not for me

July:

A street dog always hides
A street dog's fate is known

Charlie Jr. and July together:

And street dogs always stays
In the dark,

Bentley Itchiford:

you're all alone,

Charlie Jr. and July together:

all alone

July:

And I know he'll appear
'Cause there are rules and there are strictures
I believe a storybooks I read
By candlelight

Charlie Barkin Jr.:

So yes, I'd be a hero and if my wish were granted
Life would be enchanted or so the stories say

Of course I'd be a hero and I would scale a tower
And save a hot-house flower and carry her away

Bentley Itchiford:

All Alone
You need a pal
My Calender's open
You need me

Charlie Jr., July and Bentley together:

A perfect happy ending
That's how it should be

The next morning, Charlie Jr. decided to help July and her Aunt Flo with the new Puppy Orphanage, "Flo's Foster Pup Orphanage".

Flo: Now, July, I won't be gone long. Are you sure you can keep an eye on the pups while I search for more.

July: Of course, Aunt Flo.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Don't worry about a thing, Flo. We'll take care of them.

Flo: Good, I'll be back soon.

So, Flo began searching for new orphan puppies.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: So, July. How were you related to your Aunt Flo?

July: My mother was her sister. Her owner was the Queen of England from Buckingham Palace.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: No kidding, And your father?

July: He was a kind and loyal border collie and the best sheepdog from the Highlands, I've chosen to go out and see the world because I've wanted to make a difference.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Did your parents took it well?

July: Yes, They let me go because they only wanted me to be happy.

Carlos Carruthers: Hey, Puppies! You guys like some of my Cookies? They're Chocolate Chip!

The puppies tried some of his Cookies.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: Careful, Carlos, You don't want them to get sick, Do you?

Carlos Carruthers: Don't worry, I'm not giving them too much.

Sierra Barkin: How're things going?

Charlie Barkin Jr.: So far so good, Sierra.

July: We're helping my aunt taking care of the pups while opening the new orphanage.

Sierra Barkin: No kidding, Must be a big job.

July: It's just for a little while.

Flo: Did I miss something?

Kyle: Hey, Guys! Look at Carlos sleeping with the pups!

Carlos was sleeping heavenly with the puppies.

Flo: That Carlos is always good with the pups.

Charlie Barkin Jr.: He sure is.
Sorry it took so long, I hope you'll like it.

I thought they were going to meet Robyn Starling here, now that I look in past chapters. Did you forget, or did you change your mind?
